Our Promising Pipeline

Today:

Vaxco Pharmaceuticals is positioned to begin a series of clinical trials to establish the safety and efficacy of our cancer vaccines.  Our first vaccine, HCI001, is a vaccine for patients with metastatic melanoma.  It will undergo Phase I/II clinical testing conducted under an IND (Investigational New Drug) from the Food and Drug Administration.  We expect that this clinical trial will open for patient accrual in Spring 2010.

Tomorrow:

Our melanoma vaccine research program, and the technology behind it, has allowed us to develop vaccines for four of the most common cancer types including:

These vaccines are currently in preclinical development.  We expect that these vaccines will reach the clinical trial stage in the near future.

The Future:

The true excitement of our pipeline lies in the vast possibilities of vaccine technology.  In addition to the four major cancer types, Vaxco Pharmaceuticals’ research plans include the development of vaccines for advanced pancreatic, bladder and kidney cancers and lymphomas.  Further, our research in the area of immune memory suggests our vaccines may show promise for use in the preventative setting. It is our goal and our commitment to be the leader in the discovery of a vaccine for the prevention of cancer.
